Visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, Ramboda. The Ramboda area is believed
to be an area where Rama’s forces were gathered against Ravana. RamPadai
means Rama’s Force. The hills of Ramboda is also believed where Hanuman was
searching for Sitadevi. The Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka has built an Anjaneyar
temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity. This temple is called Sri Baktha
Hanuman temple and the image of lord Hanuman here is 16 Feet tall.
The service times at the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple is between 7:00 am to
12:00 noon and again 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

around 2000m above sea level and surrounded by lush tea plantations. Nuwara Eliya is the main hill resort of Sri Lanka and the heart of the tea industry. This city with an elevation of 6200 meters is the highest in Sri Lanka. Once a pleasure retreats of the European planters the town is still very much an English town with many English style bungalows and buildings.
Relax your day at Nuwaraeliya city. Gregory Lake/ Colonial building / Race course/ Golf Club. You can do boat rides at the Gregory’s lake and horse ride at the city upon your wish.
Ashok Watika (Haggala Garaden)
Hakgala Botanical Gardens – this about 28hectares in extent, lie under the shadow of the Hakgala rock. The botanic gardens are locally reputed for their collection, the rose garden and magnificent trees, indoor plants and other flowers. And this is a part of the Raamayanaya. King Ravana kept the depressed Sita, insisting that she marries him. It was here where the heartwarming meeting took place between her and Hanuman, who brought her Rama’s ring with the news that Rama was looking for her. He offered to carry her back but she refused saying it would be an insult to Rama’s honor if she did so. Part of this majestic garden still exists. It is also said that Hanuman nearly destroyed it in order to prove to Ravana of the forces against him.

Visit Nine Arch bridges – Demodara is a quaint and interesting railway station of Sri Lanka. This Bridge is situated 2 km away from Ella town along "Passara" road between "Ella" and "Demodara" Railway Stations. Built by the British in the early 20th century, the station and the Nine Arcs Bridge were engineering marvels of the day. This massive bridge is built entirely of solid rocks, bricks and cement without using a single piece of steel. The bridge was finally commissioned in 1921.

Yala National Park is situated in the south-east region of Sri Lanka and is the 2nd largest National Park in the island, situated some 300 km away from Colombo. It was at first established in the early 1890s as a game sanctuary. The park is located in the dry-zone region where the drought season is very long .The day time average temperature is over 30 degrees which is not uncommon in the region. The parkland makes up most of the reserve but also includes lakes, beaches, jungle, rivers and scrubland. This variety in habitats provides an excellent range in wildlife. The largest concentration of Leopards can be seen in this region though the chances of seeing this animal are very low, and the creature is said to be one of the most endangered species. About 32 species of mammals, 125 species of birds and many reptiles and lagoon fauna species have been recorded in the park. The Yala National Park is famous among visitors as the best place to view large mammals within one territory
