Havelock Island : Today after breakfast you will transfer to Jetty. Head to Havelock Island on board Cruise connecting the two islands! Few Indians know of this stunning beach destination in their own backyard while heading for Phuket (in Thailand) across the waters of Andaman Sea. Port Blair : Today after breakfast embark on a day long three island cruises. One of the most sought-after activities. It covers a panorama of seven harbors that include the North Bay and Ross island. It leaves a lasting impression. Visit Ross Island. Once the administrative headquarters of the British and capital of these Islands, the island is now under the Indian Navy. It stands now as a ruin of the bygone days with the old structures almost in debris. There is a small museum named Smritika, it holds photographs and the other antiques of the Britishers relevant to these islands. The island is famous for friendly flocks of Deer and lush green walking trails. Check-in will be granted only when the RT-PCR negative test report issued from ICMR recognized lab, subject to the condition that the RT-PCR test should have been taken within 48hrs prior to the commencement of the journey. The report should be produced at the Port-Blair Airport & Front-office.
You are therefore advised to carry a hard/soft copy of the RT-PCR negative test report.
COVID 19 PROTOCOLS
Tourists have to carry Negative Test Reports from mainland-based ICMR approved labs using RTCPR or True Nat Test. The reports have to be from within 48 before starting the journey.
Upon Landing in Port-Blair, Guests have to undergo an RTPCR Test in the Airport Which is free of charge. Till the results are announced, guests need to quarantine themselves in a hotel in port Blair.
Post Being Tested Negative, they are eligible to travel to havelock island in the nxt available ferry - the ferry schedule is awaited from the Administration.
Tourists traveling to and fro Shaheed and Swaraj Dweep (Havelock and ) will not have to test again, if they have negative test reports, as per the above-mentioned points.
However in case of symptoms develop, the tourist has to immediately report to the nearest PHC/CHC and thereafter necessary testing will be done as per the doctor’s advice.
Travel to the North and Islands, Nicobar group of islands and island is not permitted for tourism purposes till further notice.
